Seems I’ve been voted commits on Abdera. Cool! James & co. have been very helpful in answering my questions and helping me get my feet wet with Abdera, so I thank them for that.

I started playing around with Abdera shortly before joining MuleSource. APP is not a protocol for everything, but there are a lot of non media publishing related scenarios which interest me.

In fact, I’ll be talking this during my talk about building APP services at QCon (FYI: its covering the larger topic and isn’t focusing on Abdera per se). Time permitting, I’m going to do a small blog series on the subject as well before the conference. I’ve started writing some of them, but they’re getting way too long

QCon looks like its going to be a great conference. There is a great roster of people and topics for the SOA track - Stefan Tilkov, Steve Vinoski, Sanjiva Weerawarana, Peter Lacey, and Jim Webber. I hope to see many of you there!
